What happens at the terminal before my container sails?
After stuffing, the loaded container is trucked to the terminal and gated in before the vessel cut-off. It is weighed or its VGM declared, customs clearance is completed through the shipping bill, and the container is stacked for loading. Once loaded, the carrier issues the bill of lading.
When is another Indian port the better choice?
If your cargo originates far from Kerala, or a specific carrier service runs only from another port, we book from Tuticorin, Mangalore, Nhava Sheva or Mundra instead. The comparison is made on total door-to-port cost and transit, not on habit.
