When should an importer use an agent instead of buying from a trader?
Use an agent when you want a specific origin, estate or processor, want to see the supplier's own price, or plan to build a long-term direct relationship. Buy from Versa Traders' own stock when you want one contract, one invoice and one party responsible for quality.
How are agency services charged?
Agency work is usually charged as a commission on the order value or as a fixed fee per shipment, agreed in writing before sourcing begins.
